Eto Buziashvili is a Research Fellow at the Atlantic Council’s DFRLab, where she leads strategy for the Russia portfolio. Her work focuses on Russia’s digital authoritarianism, Russian FIMI targeting Europe, counter-FIMI policy development, and institutional partnerships across Europe.
For three consecutive years (2022–2024), Eto served as an adviser on Russia for Freedom House’s annual Freedom on the Net report. In 2024, NATO named her one of its “20 Women Fighting Information Threats.”
Prior to joining the Atlantic Council in 2019, Eto advised Georgia’s National Security Council and served in several national security roles in the public sector.
