Mr Ljungberg works at the Swedish police with national responsibility for the agency's organization and development of communication in special operations. He has previously worked as a communications manager in the nuclear power industry and the healthcare sector. Ljungberg has a long professional career heading communication in special operations and major crises which includes medical drugs, nuclear incidents, manhunts, terrorism, riots, mass shootings and hybrid threats. His latest publication is the national Swedish guideline on Joint communication during hybrid incidents (2026, Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency).
