Strategic Communications Consultant
Lieutenant Colonel LePage served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 31 years as a Public Affairs Officer. She was part of a number of United Nations and NATO operational deployments including in Croatia, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. LTC LePage was the Public Affairs Officer for two Canadian Forces Chiefs of Defence Staffs (CHODS), and two NATO Supreme Commanders Allied Powers Europe (SACEUR).
From 2008 to 2012 she worked at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), where she helped develop the Strategic Communication concept for the Alliance, including policy, directives, capability implementation plans, and operations integration. From 2012 to 2014 she was the Director of Public Affairs Operations and Plans – Military Strategic Communications at the National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa.
She retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in July 2014 to accept a position as Senior Expert, Doctrine, Policy and Experimentation, at the NATO Strategic Communication Centre of Excellence in Riga, Latvia.
Today LTC LePage continues to consult and share her expertise with NATO, the Canadian Armed Forces, and A.T. Kearney Middle East.
She is a graduate of the Canadian Forces College Joint Command and Staff Program, and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Public Relations and Communications Management and a Masters of Defence Studies.
