Dr Ofer Fridman is Director of Operations at King's Centre for Strategic Communications (KCSC) and Senior Lecturer in War Studies at King's College London. Ofer btained his BA at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, MA at Reichman University, and PhD at the University of Reading. His research focuses on the intersection between strategic communications, strategic thinking and contemporary conflicts, including information confrontations, with particular focus on Russia. Ofer recent books include: Strategiya: The Foundations of the Russian Art of Strategy, (Hurst, 2021); Russian ‘Hybrid Warfare’: Resurgence and Politicization, (Hurst, 2018/2022); Info Ops: From World War I to the Twitter Era, co-edited with Vitaly Kabernik and Francesca Granelli, (Lynne Rienner, 2022). Prior to embarking on his academic career, Ofer served for 15 years in the Israel Defence Forces on active duty.
