Researcher, University of Poitiers
Kirsten Wild's professional path began with an officer career in the German Armed Forces, with roles in both the intelligence and cyber/information domains. This included work at the interface of security policy, information warfare, and digital operations. After military service, her focus shifted to academia and research. For nearly two years now, her research has centered on information warfare—its conceptual foundations, current developments, and state-level responses. This includes questions of strategic use of information, influence operations, attribution challenges, and resilience in the information environment.
