Gavin Wilde is an expert on cyber, propaganda, emerging technologies, and Russia issues, currently based in Riga. He is a senior researcher at the Latvian Institute of International Affairs, a non-resident fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins and Riga Stradins universities. He previously served on the US National Security Council as Director for Russia, Baltic, and Caucasus Affairs, where he also focused on developing foreign influence, election security and cyber policies. Gavin Wilde previously served in senior leadership, analytic, and linguist roles within the US national security community for nearly fifteen years.
