RAF Course Developer/Diversity and Inclusion lead for Joint Service Command and Staff College
An officer in the Royal Air Force, Annie has spent 20 years in diverse roles across UK Defence including female engagement initiatives in Afghanistan, international Arms Control, UK MOD StratCom design and implementation and more recently as the Operational Support Branch Chief at the StratCom COE in Riga.
Currently working in course development for RAF professional military education, she is creating projects to understand and improve military culture within UK Defence as a whole, with an aim to undertake doctoral level research into diversity strategy efficacy on her exit from military service this year.
Concurrently she is completing an associate level organisational learning and development qualification.
Her personal interests are centred around the psychology of group dynamics, gender and the social imaginary, when she isn’t dancing.
