Minister of Culture and Democracy, Sweden
Amanda Lind has been the Minister for Culture and Democracy, with responsibility for sport and national minorities in the Government of Sweden since 2019. The Minister is also responsible for issues concerning media, youth policy and civil society.
Previously, she has served as the Party Secretary of the Swedish Green Party (2016-2019), a Member of the Culture and Recreation Committee of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (2015-2016), and as a Member of the Swedish National Council of Adult Education’s Representative Body (2015-2016). She has also held numerous positions in the Härnösand Municipal Council.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Umeå University and studied Human Rights at the Stockholm School of Theology, Lidingö.
